This year is just flying by. I can’t believe it’s already Fall, but I’m so excited that it is. As much as I love summer for so many reasons – the warm weather, the sunshine, and of course my birthday – after a couple of months the warm weather is not so much nice as it is just plain hot. Although living in California it isn’t really feeling like Fall just yet – lets be real anything under 90 is a dream – I love Fall fashion, the cozy sweaters, the boots, the scarves, and of course the jackets.
Since I’ll be leaving for a work trip at the end of this week (by the time you’re reading this I’ll already be on my way) I decided to go into my stylist mode and share my current Fall inspired Sets on Polyvore.
First lets start for the fancier Set:
This exact outfit is defiantly out of most peoples price range – especially mine – totally around $160,000. Yeah you read that correct $160K!! That’s crazy, but thats also the beauty of Polyvore. You can create beautiful sets and never have to worry about hurting your wallet.
What I love about this outfit is that it’s very classic and feminine and the colors scream Fall. If you’re looking for a put together classic Fall look all you need is a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, a long sleeved blouse, leather jacket (any neutral color will work but I recommend brown if you’re going with dark bottoms and a light top to balance the look out), and a pair of boots (they do not need to be high heels). As far as accessories I always recommend to keep it simple. SInce I love watches that will always be a must for me, but if that’s not your thing a couple of rings and a bracelet are perfect all the same.
This next look is again on the pricy side if you want the exact pieces, but there are plenty of similar items out there for a fraction of the cost. As far as the “You can’t wear white after Labor Day” thing let me just say that I do not follow it. I’ve never really understood the reasoning behind it and I personally think that this look is so pretty for Fall and Winter. I love how this outfit is classy and feminine (you will see a theme with that) but still casual. As you can see this outfit is definitely centered around the white and gold look with just a pop of color with the navy Chanel bag, and again we’ve kept it simple with the accessories. Nothing too bold or crazy or loud. I think this is perfect for any day in Fall whether you’re going to work, class, or just out shopping with friends.
Our final outfit of this … Fall Lookbook? I guess that’s what we’ll call it … is this, again, very feminine look. Unlike the other two I don’t think this outfit is classic Fall and that’s because of the bright pink top, but don’t let that scare you. Just because it’s Fall doesn’t mean you can incorporate some bright colors into your wardrobe. If you’re looking to still wear some bright colors into your Fall wardrobe but aren’t sure how I suggest doing something like this. As you can tell the top in this outfit is the focus, it’s bright, it’s pink, and its got some embellishments at the collar- it’s perfect – and to avoid looking like you just threw on a bright colored top just out of the blue I suggest incorporating some accessories or other pieces that are in the same or similar color family but still “Fall appropriate” like we did here with the purse and the extremely pale pink jacket. And again, we kept the accessories very simple just a sweet Kate Spade watch and a couple of rings. As a side note, if you’re not into wearing heels you could totally wear a pair of flats or flat black boots and it would still look beautiful.
I hope you guys have enjoyed this post, I certainly enjoyed writing it for you. As always thanks for reading and I will talk to you all soon!
Have a great weekend.
